Auto Typer on a Chromebook: What to Do When Extensions Are Blocked
Add Lumora Writes to Chrome (free)

Managed Chromebooks often come with an extension allowlist set by an administrator. If the Chrome Web Store shows "blocked by your administrator", you cannot install an auto typer extension, but you may still have other options.
Why extensions get blocked
Schools and companies restrict extensions to reduce security risk and keep devices consistent. Extension policies do not usually cover every other way of running code in a page, which is why alternatives exist.
The no-install bookmarklet
A bookmarklet is a bookmark whose address is a short piece of JavaScript. Clicking it on a page loads the typing engine from the Lumora Writes site, so there is nothing to install and nothing for an administrator to approve. Drag it to your bookmarks bar, open your document, click it and start typing.
Running the code from the console
If bookmarks are blocked as well, the same code can be pasted into the browser developer console. This is a separate mechanism with its own policy, so a device that blocks the first two options may still allow it.
The Google Docs sidebar add-on
For Google Docs specifically, you can create a sidebar with Apps Script. It runs inside Docs itself rather than the browser, and takes roughly three minutes to set up once.
A word on rules and etiquette
Managed devices belong to your school or employer. Check their acceptable-use policy before running tools on them, and only type content you are permitted to submit.
